SECTION 21 PERISHABLE FOOD PRODUCTS AND SHIPPING DISCLAIMER
1. Customer Responsibility Upon Delivery
Perishable items must be immediately refrigerated or frozen upon delivery. Failure to properly store items at the time of receipt may result in spoilage. Feeding You Kosher is not responsible for spoilage caused by delays in unpacking, improper storage, or failure to follow safe food handling guidelines.
2. Shipping Method and Packaging
We ship perishable items using insulated packaging with gel packs or dry ice to maintain product quality. We do not guarantee that products will remain fully frozen during shipping. Partial thawing is normal and acceptable as long as the product is cold upon arrival.
3. Delivery Attempts and Incorrect Addresses
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate shipping address and ensure someone is available to receive the package. We are not responsible for:
• shipments delayed due to incorrect or incomplete addresses
• missed carrier delivery attempts
• packages left unattended after delivery
Once the carrier marks an order as delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer.
4. Weather, Carrier Delays, and External Conditions
We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier interruptions, seasonal volume, or any conditions outside our control.
5. Inspecting Your Shipment
Customers must inspect shipments immediately upon delivery. Any issues must be reported within 24 hours with photos of:
• the box
• packaging
• product condition
• shipping label
Reports submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible for replacement or credit.
6. No Returns on Perishable Items
Perishable food products cannot be returned. If an issue arises, our team will review the evidence and determine an appropriate resolution.
7. Customer Acceptance of Risk
By purchasing perishable goods, you acknowledge and accept the risk of carrier delays, thawing during transit, weather conditions, and your own availability to receive the shipment. Feeding You Kosher takes all reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee product condition once outside our possession.
