Feeding You Kosher Shipping Policy
1. Order Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days.
Orders placed after 12 PM ET may be processed the next business day.
We do not ship on:
• Fridays
• Saturdays
• National holidays
This schedule prevents perishable items from sitting in transit over weekends.
2. Shipping Methods for Perishable Food
To protect the quality of our perishable kosher products, we use insulated packaging, gel packs, and in some cases dry ice.
Our shipping method rules are as follows:
Ground Shipping (Preferred)
We ship via Ground whenever the destination is within a reliable 2 day delivery range.
If Ground shipping cannot safely deliver within 2 days, we automatically upgrade the method.
Standard Shipping Method (Default)
If Ground cannot deliver in 2 days, our standard shipping method is 2 Day Air.
Overnight Shipping (Optional Upgrade)
Customers may select Overnight shipping at checkout for an additional charge.
We always select the method that ensures safe transit of your perishable items.
3. Expected Transit Times
Expected arrival times:
• 1 to 2 business days via Ground (where applicable)
• 2 business days via 2 Day Air
• 1 business day via Overnight
Transit time is calculated once the carrier picks up the package.
4. Warm Weather or Seasonal Heat
During periods of high temperatures, we may:
• delay shipping to avoid weekend holdovers
• upgrade shipments to faster methods
• adjust the shipping schedule to maintain safety
You will be notified if your order requires a change.
5. Delivery and Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to:
• provide a correct and complete shipping address
• retrieve the package immediately upon delivery
• refrigerate or freeze items immediately
Packages may be left at the door if the carrier does not require a signature.
Once the carrier marks an order as delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer.
We are not responsible for:
• spoiled items due to late retrieval
• stolen packages
• delivery to incorrectly entered addresses
• delays caused by building access restrictions
6. Shipping to Apartments or Multi-Unit Buildings
Please ensure carriers can access your building.
Provide delivery instructions at checkout if needed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by building policies, security desks, or restricted entry.
7. Perishable Items That Arrive Partially Thawed
It is normal for frozen items to arrive partially thawed.
This is safe as long as the product is cold to the touch.
Immediately refrigerate or refreeze all perishable items upon arrival.
If your order arrives warm or spoiled, contact us within 24 hours.
8. No Returns on Perishable Items
For health and safety reasons, perishable food items cannot be returned.
If an issue arises, we will review your case and determine whether a replacement or credit is appropriate.
9. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Orders
Email us within 24 hours of delivery at support@feedingyoukosher.com.
Include:
• your order number
• photos of the outer box
• photos of internal packaging
• photos of the product
• a photo of the shipping label
This documentation allows us to investigate quickly with our carrier.
10. Carrier Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, including:
• weather
• mechanical failures
• holiday volume
• staffing shortages
• acts of nature
We package orders with safety in mind but cannot control carrier performance once a shipment leaves our facility.
11. Shipping Restrictions
We currently cannot ship to:
• P.O. Boxes
• APO or FPO addresses
• certain rural or remote locations
• international destinations
If your address is not serviceable, we will notify you before shipping.
