What makes your beef different from grocery store beef?
Our Star-K Glatt Kosher Black Angus beef comes from pasture-raised cattle that are grain-finished for superior marbling. Unlike mass-market beef, our cattle are raised without antibiotics or added hormones, and all cuts are USDA-certified High Choice/Prime grade—the top 2% of all beef produced.
What does "pasture-raised" and "grain-finished" mean?
Pasture-raised means our cattle graze freely on open grasslands for most of their lives, promoting natural behavior and healthier meat. Grain-finishing involves feeding cattle high-quality grains in the final months to develop superior marbling—the fat streaks that create tenderness and rich beef flavor.
What kosher supervision do you use?
All our beef is certified Star-K Glatt Kosher, one of the most respected kosher certification agencies. This ensures the highest standards of kashrut from slaughter through packaging.
How long does your beef stay fresh?
Our beef arrives vacuum-sealed and can be refrigerated for 7-10 days or frozen for up to 6 months. We recommend using ground beef within 3-5 days if refrigerated, or freezing immediately for longer storage.
What's the best way to freeze your beef?
Keep vacuum-sealed packages in their original packaging and freeze immediately if not using within a few days. For best quality, use frozen steaks within 6 months and ground beef within 3-4 months. Thaw in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours before cooking.
Any cooking tips for your premium beef?
Our high-quality marbling means your beef will cook more evenly and stay juicier. Bring steaks to room temperature 30 minutes before cooking, season generously, and don't overcook—the superior marbling keeps meat tender even at medium doneness.
